Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies
Location: Ohio
Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.
Founded in 1973, the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies (OACCA) became the first statewide association advocating for the children of Ohio. OACCA works to provide leadership and support to at-risk children, families, and communities across Ohio. OACCA works with a variety of public services from the public school system, community behavioral health, and independent living to specialized schooling, foster care and adoption services.
OACCA works closely with the government of Ohio to support public policies to ensure that the public school system is integrated, efficient, and cost efficient. OACCA strives to provide beneficial programs and policies to children and families. To ensure programs are of the highest quality, OACCA provides professional development and training opportunities to early childhood educators as well as to individuals in the field of early childhood.
