Pie for Providers joins Lillio!
At Lillio, our commitment to early childhood educators means finding innovative new ways to support every childcare provider’s ability to build a high-quality early childhood program. One of the most frequent challenges that we hear about from our customers relates to their ability to manage government subsidy programs, which provide financial assistance to families to help cover the costs of childcare. Subsidies provide a lifeline for families, but the subsidy programs themselves can be burdensome and confusing to providers, who often struggle to get timely and complete reimbursement.
For this reason, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve completed an acquisition of a wonderful company called Pie for Providers (P4P), a non-profit software company dedicated to partnering with subsidy agencies and helping childcare providers collect their payments. Having the P4P team’s deep expertise in house, along with the innovative and thoughtful technology they’ve developed, will allow us to bring new and much needed support to childcare providers.
The visionary P4P co-founders, Chelsea Sprayregen (CEO) and Rebecca Karasik (CPO), have joined the Lillio team along with many of their experienced team members, helping to carry forward this essential support for providers.
“Chelsea’s deep empathy for childcare providers and the families they serve is the driving force behind her visionary work,” shared Lillio CEO Kai-leé Berke. “This, together with her commitment to breaking down the barriers to high-quality care and education that persist in the field, has helped to establish her as a true thought leader in this space.”
Becoming part of the Lillio team will enable P4P to expand the scope and scale of the support they are able to provide.
“We are thrilled to add P4P to Lillio’s family of solutions,” Sprayregen said. “The Lillio leadership team shares our mission of serving the early childhood field and alleviating the most difficult challenges providers face across every aspect of their work. Integrating our targeted solution into this comprehensive set of offerings will help us reach more providers and better serve them.”
At Lillio, we feel privileged to support the early childhood workforce as they provide loving, nurturing, high-quality early care and education to young children. We strongly believe that all childcare providers deserve fair wages that reflect the critical importance of their work. P4P advances this vision by helping providers claim all the subsidy funding for which they qualify. We’re excited to work in partnership with the P4P team to deliver new ways for Lillio to serve the needs of the early childhood workforce.
