In this webinar we were joined by Dr. Paula Laurel Jackson, Stefanie Paige Wieder and Autumn Allen from Barefoot Books! They joined us for an important conversation on how to understand and tackle bias in early childhood, and what practical tools we need for fostering children’s positive identity and their understanding of others during these critical years. During this webinar we discussed how and when children start to develop bias, how to recognize the gaps in anti-bias education within your own childcare setting, and we gained practical tools for evaluating and selecting high quality books that support high quality anti-bias early childhood education.
